What is a G Driving Licence in Ontario?
A G driving licence is the highest level of driving qualification in Ontario’s Graduated Licensing System (GLS). With this licence, you can:
- Drive on all Ontario roads, including highways, without restrictions.
- Carry passengers without any limitations, as long as your vehicle has enough seat belts.
- Enjoy full driving privileges day or night under all weather conditions.
Eligibility for a G Licence:
- Hold a valid G2 licence for at least 12 months.
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Pass the G DriveTest, which evaluates advanced driving skills.
